The Waves Keep Coming In

I think we can safely say that we are watching our family grow up on the beaches of Destin.  We took our first trip down there when Jacob was barely two and still an only child...5 years later, and many trips later, here we are.

I love how the subtle changes, that can easily go unnoticed in the day to day, become so obvious against the unchanging backdrop of this beautiful place where the tide keeps coming in and the waves never stop rolling out.

There is no denying that time is passing and that our family will continue to grow and change, so I love taking a few minutes to record how it was on this beautiful day...a day when Jake was too busy to look up, where James didn't stop smiling, and where my amazing husband lit up every time he saw our baby girl, who's tiny little body can barely contain all that personality within.   I am so blessed to spend my life with these incredible people.  And it takes my breath away to know that because of my loving Heavenly Father's plan and for the infinite atonement of His son, Jesus Christ, my family can be together forever.  There could be no greater gift.
